Five ways I use my Headshots in my own Branding and Marketing

I had my most recent headshot and branding photos taken in January and have put them to good use. If you need ideas to justify your own Headshot Session, here are five ways I’ve used my headshots in branding and marketing.

SOCIAL MEDIA BIOS

This may seem obvious, but the very first thing I did was update all of my social media bios across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. It is essential to ensure that each profile accurately reflects the essence of my brand, along with the current offerings that I provide. You can check out how I updated all of my social media bios using the links below.

My Website “About Me” Page

My Website “About Me” page has been updated to reflect my current work. The previous photo was taken in 2023 and my Company and Brand Messaging has evolved so much in 12 short months; I felt it was like the perfect opportunity to refresh my image. Be sure to take a moment to visit the updated About Me page to learn more about my Photography Journey and what feeds my love for capturing beautiful Portraits and Brand Images.

My NeWSLETTER

I enjoy including a picture of myself when I sign off on my Newsletter, as it adds a personal touch and creates a stronger connection with my readers.

Here are two more unique and out-of-the-box ways that I’ve creatively used my headshots or other portraits in my branding and marketing .

My Phone ConTACT PHOTO

I recently took the opportunity to update my iPhone Contact Photo using one of my more fun and quirky shots, which is designed as my light-hearted tribute to the iconic Debbie Gibson! This playful photo has definitely prompted a lot of amused reactions from people who see it, including my husband, who can't help but answer the phone asking, “What is this about?!” I truly apologize in advance to anyone who receives a call from me over the next few weeks and genuinely appreciate their willingness to put up with my sense of humor. I promise to switch it to something more “traditional” sooner rather than later!

I updated my Phone Contact Photo with my favorite self-portrait from last year.

JUDGES BIO

I was recently honored to be invited as an Alumni Guest Judge at Lehigh University for their exciting Summer Research Expo. All of the judges’ headshots and biographies were shared with the participants. As a Photographer, it was important to me to share an Amazing Headshot. Check out how nice and crisp this Bio looks!
