Yoga Instructor Headshot Session in Roslyn, NY

A Yoga Instructor’s headshot can convey so much more than just a simple image; it can embody presence, strength, peace, flow, and personality, not to mention the element of love. These qualities are just a few of the many nuances that a well-captured headshot can reveal. That’s why when a dedicated Yogi reaches out to book a headshot, I recognize that it is going to be a little more in-depth than my typical photography session.

Jenni, a long-time Yoga Instructor on Long Island, was going to be teaching Yoga out East at Montauk OM throughout the Summer. Montauk OM has a gorgeous website and Instagram page where they regularly highlight their classes and instructors teaching each day.

Jenni suggested for the photo session at Northwell’s Center for Wellness and Integrative Medicine in Roslyn, NY, where the Yoga studio provided the most perfect backdrop for our session together. As we “flowed” through this session (pun intended) I was blown away by the impressive yoga poses she was able to hold! In addition to the headshots, we also captured a range of lifestyle shots in the beautiful building atrium as well as at juice bar, Organic Crush, located downstairs.
